the angels were there. i went to see the ceo of a big corporation, mostly to kill them. as i went up in the building, the security guards slowly were replaced with angels, all more monstrous and awe-inspiring than each other.
but they couldn't hold against us. my team of ideals, which i had carefully built since weeks, and X, easily beat all of them.
sometimes i look back at what i did, and ask myself if i have not become that which i despise. but its comforting to know that you have a goal. at least i'm doing this for others, i tell myself.
at least, when i die, ill have the comfort of having given my life away.
upon reaching the top office, the ceo begged. he got on his knees, pleaded, weeping like a child. last year, this same person funded a terrorist group in third world countries. last year, this man helped others do unthinkable acts, making children cry just as he was.
i felt pity. i couldn't help it. in the end, i left him alive and simply left.
such arrogance does not deserve death.
